STYX ROCKS!!!! ^_^
Ok, yeah me, my friend Sara and Dylan went to the Star-Spangled Fourth celebration in downtown Garland today, and it was AWSOME!!!! We didn't go the whole day, we really only went to go see STYX perform. YAY STYX!!!! ^_^ but it was still AWSOME, because they rocked hard. We had gotten reserved seating and we sat at the 5th row from the stage!! They had these white lawn chairs for us to use which were kind of crappy, but oh well. I think being out in the open like that is almost better than going to like the Nokia Theater for a concert.
One thing that did really suck balls was that for the firworks, they decided to have them right where the huge cover for the stage was. >.< So I couldn't really see the firworks except for when they were really big. That was not kool. Plus when they were throwing stuff into the audience, they kept throwing the stuff into the middle and front sections. >.< That sucked too, because I wanted free stuff too!
What would've been really kool is if I would've gotten the pictures that STYX had taken on-stage(they used a Polaroid camera). They were taking pics of themselves and ended up tossing them to the crowd(but really only to the ones that were close to the stage, which we weren't). I had really wanted drum sticks though, because the drums were AWSOME!!!! Man I really, really, really want to learn how to play the drums, and bass. I just need to find someone who can teach me, who isn't expensive, and find a drum set for cheap.
Anyways, just wanted to let ppl know that, but now I'm going to sleep because I need me rest for the rest of the holiday weekend. Because tomorrow, me and Niki will be going to her dad's place to celebrate the 4th of July, and then we'll be back on Tuesday, and I might have to leave early to make to class in order to finish all my lessons, and the on Wed. I'll be taking all the rest of my math tests and any make-up tests in Human Dev.(which will only be one test). Then Thursday I have my Human Dev final(but I take that only if I need it to boost my grade up, which I doubt I'll need)and my Math final(which I'm scared to take, I don't know how well I'll do) and that'll be the last test for me till next month. So I'll pretty much me non-existince the next week till Friday. So if ya need me, you'll have to call me(but I don't know if I'll answer), or catch me when I might be online, otherwise I'll talk to all when I get a chance on the weekend. Ciao and Buh-Bye.
