WINNER!!!! ^_^
OMG!!!! I can't believe it, I actually won something on the radio!!! I'm sooo happy right now, it's crazy. Ok, here's how it went down...
I was in Art class, and a lot of times we listen to the radio because it gets quite in there and it gets boring. So anywho, we were listening to The Edge and they were doing The Soup Dejour(sp?), where u have 5 songs and 1 movie all mixed together and u have to find out which ones are which. Well me and Jaime(one of the guys in my class) were trying to see if we could get it, because we both usually only get like 3 songs and maybe the movie. So when it came on, we were able to get, at first, 2 songs and I got the movie. Then when they played it again Jaime was able to get 2 more songs, but the last song was hard for us to get. Then I remembered that there was a sound like someone was spitting like *hauck**thoh*(however the sound is)^_^ and Jaime remembered that there was a song that had that in there, so he told me and I was like are u sure, and he was like yeah. So our teacher said that we should call it in and see if we could get the prize. Well, me, Jaime and Jewels(I don't remember how to spell her name right) all had The Edge on speed dial(I know it's sad, oh well), and we all tried to get in. Jaime couldn't but mine kept on ranging, and I GOT THRU!!! and I told them the songs(Limp Bizkit, Jimmy Eat World, Metallica, Sum 41, and Chevelle) that we got and the movie(Encino Man), and I WAS RIGHT!!! ^_^ I was sooo happy, I was like "R u serious?!?!" I didn't believe it at first, it was Awsome!!
When the class saw that I won they were all cheering, and Jessie(the DJ) asked who that was in the background, and I was like "That's my class," and she asked,"What class?" and I said "Art class." After she had told me the prize which was some kind of Sex book, and a $25 gift card to the Gaspipe, she asked if I was even old enough to have sex and I was like "yeah, I'm 20,"(I was doing this while not trying to laugh), and then she asked if I had someone to practice on, and I was thinking 'OMG!!!' and I stupidly relpied "yeah, my boyfriend,"(which wont happen, sorry, at least not for a long while). She was then like, "that's kool, I just need to get some info about ya," it was ok because then she asked for my birthday, I said, "4-29-85, I actually turn 20 tomorrow," she was like "kool". After she got my info, she said for me to tell my classmates to give me a-round of applause for getting the Soup, and then Jaime was like "hey, it wasn't just her, she had help," which is true, he did help. She then told me that I had to come down to the station to get my prize between the business hours. I said ok, and that was that.
After I got off the phone I was shaky(sp?) because I just couldn't beleive that I won. And since both me and Jaime got the Soup, we are splitting the prize, so whatever he decides he doesn't want, I'm going to get. It's not a bad thing, because there are only 2 things, so yeah. That just made my day even better. It was a great way to start off the weekend.
Man tomorrow is going to be soo great, and y know y? IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!! ^_^ YAY!!! I'm gonna be 20!! no longer a teenager, but still one year shy of partying hardy.:-P It's going to be a great birthday, I just know it. Anywho, I've talked too much so I'm leaving, ttyl. Buh-Bye.
