Not much exciting has happened today. I actually slept in (if you can call 8 AM "sleeping in") so that was nice since this whole thing with IFC and the craziness of this week has left me pretty somewhat emotionally exhausted. Then I had a bunch of mundane errands to run, relaxed for a bit, and I'm finally getting around to getting online today. Judging from the lack of email, nothing else has happened yet on the IFC controversy. The Daily Tarheel article didn't run today, but that did not surprise me. The writer said she would have had a 5 PM deadline to be able to finish it in time for today's issue and we did not even start the interview until after 4:30. So I had a feeling it would be tomorrow. That's just as well because to be honest, having a little bit of quiet time before the storm starts up again is nice. Of course, the immediate problem is that J is still going to have to leave in a week so it would be nice if some more options would present themselves soon. If any of you out there have any connections or ideas about housing and other services around where you are, please drop me a line--either comment here or email me at rm.mcgee [at] gmail (dot) com.
