Mass locking of all previous journal entires...check.

New layout (though prefabricated), links, title, etc...check.

Condensing of interest list...check.

Mass purging of friends list...check.

About that -- essentially, all I did was remove what appeared to be ancient defunct journals, removed those who I seem to no longer have common interest with or that I have fallen out of such contact with they likely no longer remember who I am (and vis versa in some cases), and removed one individual who on further inspection made my stomach churn from sheer creepiness and proved to turn out more of a jackass than I initially thought (and, it is safe to say on that presentation he is well aware of who he is).

A few people I have kept as a number of you have changed names since I went on hiatus, and a few I have yet to be able to identify. Others, there is still interest in the ongoings of their lives. Some still are friends who might not update that often, but who always hold a place in my heart that I hope to keep in some semblance of contact.

If, however, my assumptions and instincts were incorrect in your removal and you are reading this, do comment. Otherwise, it is simply as time exists and passes.

After a number of hours of going in and locking each entry by hand, this with forever be the last public entry to this journal. There is no sense in creating a new one. What has past has past, and a lot has changed since then. Deleting it or denying its existence does not change it.

Time to pick up the old book, quill, and move on.
