one of my health tips is, homemade barley water.

i cook it once or twice a week without sugar or very little ice sugar and drink it like water.

let me just tell you briefly why is it such a wonder :)

. reduce the heat in your body (chinese sayings) . drinking barley water helps water retention .
. high in fibre, good for your intestinal health . it is a kidney cleanser, helps to prevent heart
disease . barley can help prevent gallstones . barley water is a great source of magnesium,
which reacts with many different enzymes that involve glucose levels in the body. this can help
to reduce the risk of  type 2 diabetes . the fiber that comes from barley water is known to lower
cholesterol.

and i think theres quite a few more benefits to it that you guys can search online.

why i emphasized on homemade becos you just cant avoid the amount of sugar they add in the
barley drinks outside, its horrible.
