I've been meeting so many people lately, through the quills and in-person. It's so cool. I feel like I'm finally starting to really settle in around here.
The solstice festival is coming up. This'll be my first without my family and not in my hometown so it'll be interesting to see the differences. Back home, it's a day event where everyone gathers in the commons and gossip all day with some fireworks in the early night. From what I've gathered from people around here, it's a much bigger deal.
Hopefully the fireworks are still around. They've always been my favorite part.
