Phoebe was curled up in one of the chairs in the master bedroom. She was reading -- or pretending to read -- but her mind kept going back over the worries that Anders was having about the music he was hearing. She was concerned about him and how worried he was about losing her and Cole over whatever the music might mean

Cole wandered in. "Hi, sweetheart," he said. "How are you doing?"

Phoebe looked up from her book and a smile crossed her face. She got up from the chair and went to hug him.

"Hello, love."

Cole gave her a tender kiss. "We haven't been making too much noise working in the baby's room, have we?"

Phoebe shook her head and kissed him back. "No, love. You guys are fine." She looked up at him. "Might just be mising you a little..."

Cole settled down in the chair and gently drew Phoebe into his lap. "This better?" he murmured.

Phoebe nodded and curled up against him. "Much better," she said softly. She kissed him and then pulled back to look into his eyes. "How are you, love?"

"I'm fine," Cole said, letting one hand drift down to cup Phoebe's belly. "How's our girl doing?"

"Our girl is doing very well, love. She's okay."

"Good," Cole said, nuzzling Phoebe's neck. "When's your next check-up?"

Phoebe smiled, leaning her head against his chest. "I'm supposed to make an appointment this week."

"Mmm hmm," Cole said, still nuzzling. His hand eased up to her breasts. "Are these getting bigger?" he said, gently caressing.

Phoebe made a happy sound. "You'd know that better than I would, love."

"I think they are," Cole mused, sliding his hand up under Phoebe's shirt. Just to have a better feel for their growth, of course. "I like it."

Phoebe smiled at him and pressed her chest into his hand. "I'm glad that you like it, love..."

"I always like them," Cole said, squeezing gently. His thumb found one nipple and lightly circled it. "This is just a bonus."

Phoebe nuzzled his neck and then kissed him. "I like it when you do that, love."
