(no subject)
i can't believe i just managed to catch up on all my friends entries that i've missed. this is what you call down-time. the keyboards in italy are really weird and it's taking me a little to get used to them so forgive me if there are some weird errors in this entry (although with my grammar-naziesque paranoia, i doubt it, but you never know).
so yea, the last entry was really short and sweet. i just wanted to let everyone know i was still alive somewhere. it's really freaking hot here, we've come in the middle of a heat wave, but it gets surprisingly cool at night, which is great for the sleeping conditions. last night we all headed over to the piazza down the street because there was a big jazz show. i love it, random cool things like that are happening all the time here, something jersey is definitely missing- STUFF TO DO.
there's a pall mall pack of cigarettes that has been sitting in this comp lab for about a day now and i really want to swipe the lighter because it's very cute, but i don't know if that would be wrong or not. maybe wait one more day? i'll give the poor dope 24 more hours before i gank it.
i found two skate shops, an amazing shoe store, a hookah store, and a piercing place walking around so far. this = fun. i'm actually really glad my mood has improved so much, because i was pretty grumpy this past first week. i still have a twinge of homesickness in me all day, and i'm constantly missing certain people, but i can't be in a place like this and not live it up. it's actually quite impossible.
classes start tomorrow and the hours are bearable thankfully (9am and 1pm), so i'm going to sign off now. hoping to talk to some of you soon.
