So, there's this story that was posted for Yuletide. It's a crossover between Doctor Who and Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" music video. Basically, Rose, Jack, and the Doctor stumble into another future society that's deeply wrong; this one happens to involve a disturbing auction, a conspiracy, and a woman who wants your love (love love love). Also, Lady Gaga is a Time Agent. The fic is hilarious, and somehow all of that actually makes sense.

They walked through the Bath Haus - fewer cracks in the cement, but otherwise just like it was before. Or like it would be, anyway. They checked the room where the woman had been in the bath. It was empty, but the walls were lined with shelves holding odd-shaped bottles labeled Lex Nemiroff. Vodka, Rose would have guessed back on earth. Could be anything here.
I was going to put a link on Facebook, but this works just as well, since everyone I wanted to see this also uses lj. (Particularly makokitten. It is relevant to your interests.) It brought random joy to my day.

Yes, there is fanfiction for "A Complete History of the Soviet Union As Told By A Humble Worker Arranged To The Melody Of Tetris." (The YouTube video is linked to in the fic's notes.) What's interesting is that it's actually very well-written and sad. (Considering sending it to Mr. Thomas. xP)
