A case of the Mondays

So, as of today I have (slightly less than) a week to finish a ridiculous big bang fic that I don't even know if I'm qualified to write. To those who would get this: It is an AU based on The Grid. Yes, that Grid. And you probably don't want to read it. You will probably just look at the summary and judge me for writing it at all.

...I am kind of freaking out.

Accomplishments for today:

1) I finished writing a story that manages to feature zero human characters. (Well, technically there are three, but they are all asleep.)

2) I continued making progress on the two ridiculous chaptered fics I'm currently working on. Still wondering where those 3,000 words came from, but they are very welcome. And I have an actual plot arc for one of them figured out now. That feels productive.

3) Apparently I have decided spending all my money on auctions at gulf_aid_now is a good use of my time, but if I get a Rory/Amy video set to "Halo," it will all be worth it. (Also: THINK OF THE COASTAL WETLANDS AND ADORABLE SEA TURTLES AND BIRDS.)

4) Um. I continued to prod at the people who said they could get me internships, in hope that they have not forgotten about me? (They probably have. x.x)

5) Four months whee. I still have no satisfactory term for an amount of time, in months, a couple has officially been together. At this point, I'm just happy.

6) I saw a bunch of friends on Sunday. My social life: it is not dead yet! (No need to call the Doctor. :P) Oh, and I might see Rocky Horror this weekend. That would be fun.

7) I managed to think of all those things. And now, off to watch Rachel Maddow. Ta, flist.
