"It's like a ticker-tape parade for your soul." That's pretty much as accurate as it gets, I think. Every single particle of my being is shouting "YIPPEE!!!!" And life is amazing. mmmmhmmm.
My poor father, however, has his nose buried deep in 8 Simple Rules for dating my teenage daughter and other tips from a beleaguered father [not that any of them work] and is going back and forth between laughing hysterically and frowning as if the world is about to end. Mum's been skipping about and humming all day, which is quite possibly the most adorable thing in the world.
As far as I know, everyone is safe and mostly happy. I am beyond content, and now plan on sleeping until 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
