home sweet home

So, Joel and I are all moved in to our lovely cozy apartment. We are pretty much unpack, just a few things to hang on the walls and what not. It was a huge mess trying to get here though. It was seriously one horrible thing after another. (i.e. the trailer lights wouldn't work, then the van wouldn't start, then the stuff wouldn't fit in the garage, then the guy wouldn't take a personal check...so on and so on...) But we made it, and now we are here. It is quite cute if I dont say so myself. If you wanna come visit just gimme a call! ;)

The Sunday after moving in (that would be the 4th) We went back down to Lakewood for his sister baptism into her new church with her fiance.

After that was our trip to Florida. My pops paid for Joely and I to venture on down to visit him. We went fishing and saw the beach. Hurricane Ofilia up north of where my dad lives was causing the waves to be too high and the undertow to be too strong for us to go swimming in it, so we just chilled and hung out. We went down the Key West to hang out for the weekend. We rented a Gem car to cruise around the island on, and stayed at a really cool hotel. It was in the older part of Key West and had a pool and cabana. It was really cute and really nice. We swam a lot and went on a seadoo tour of the Keys. That was fun once we finally got the right key for our seadoo, they gave us the training key at first and we could only go 30 mph which was way way slower than everyone else. But in the end it was cool, we saw turtles and starfishes. We also saw the Hilton's house, all boarded up because it is just a winter home. We also went to the sunset celebration. It was so beautiful, the sunset that is. The celebration part is the Hilton Hotel hires all these different acts to come out and preform. They were all pretty cool. All in all it was a good trip, but it feels good to be back home. I got eaten alive by bugs. I have 11 on my arms and my legs look like I have the chicken pox, its gross. So, home is feeling pretty good right now.

Now it is just getting settled in, and getting ready to go back to school.

Joel's puffer fish, this little guy didn't survive his catching.  The hook went too deep and he was coughing up blood when we threw him back in the water.
