I called snow night tonight. It's been going on for several hours, but I wouldn't call it a blizzard...
Abby and I have been in the living room since about 2 or 3 this afternoon talking about old people things. You know, global warming, when we were young it snowed all winter, New Orleans, sex (although that is so not ok...) Jason came over for a split second to eat some of my food, then Abby and I continued sitting. This time with crochet-ing projects, teacups and "You, Me, and Everyone We Know." Such a good movie.
Tomorrow is Neko's last day of being a real girl kitty. She's suddenly very interested in the kitchen counter, which up until now, has never been an issue.
The wait is nearly over. I'll be starting work again Thursday-ish, ( I get to wear jeans to my new job!) then back to school the following Tuesday. It'll be good to get a routine established again (see also: Stop sleeping my life away.) And I'm sure Jason will be thankful that I'm no longer bothering him while he's trying to work.
Five days after school starts, I turn the big 2-1. I've got all kinds of fun things in mind. Let me know if you want in.
In the meantime, we've discovered a really cool bar that will let me in without ID. It's really neat looking and has all kinds of... interesting art on the walls. Art Bar, I think they call it.
I'm going to bed.
