Snows days
I don't have to go to school today!
We're having all the blizzard fun right now. It's not supposed to stop until 3:00pm. I was getting bundled up to go to class, all frowny cuz I couldn't ride my bike, and Abby was watching the news and said "CHELSEA!... I think they just said that classes are cancelled." I waited around watching all the schools, and businesses go by, remembering a time when the process took about 5 minutes, and Boone was always one of the first to be listed... 10 minutes later, I realize I'm going to be seriously late, so I hope we don't have school.
And we didn't.
And I danced.
Then I took Neko to onmilwaukee.com. We delivered some milk and cereal to Mr. Taltosfish and talked to one of the bike-fixers about snow tires for my bike. $80 a piece. Two of them would cost more than my bike did, but I almost feel that it's worth it to not have to walk through 7" of snow to get to school... and it would make me even more an object of the Milwaukee bikers' affection. That's my goal here, folks.
Neko is finally dry. She broke one of the ornaments from the tree last night. Hopefully this doesn't continue, or I'll have to throw her into the snow bank.
Today, we're going to 'clean the shit out of our house' starting with the bathroom. Then I'll probably take a nap... because I can.
