Well, Tegan seems to sort of understand things aren't going to always be well with the Doctor, especially by the end. Though she seems to be doing a good job of ignoring that thought for now.

I don't think Sarah could have ever made that choice, whereas Tegan knew when something was too much and too dangerous. For Sarah, it was all about the wonders of the universe. All of the good mixed with all of the bad.

I feel so sad for Sarah right now. :-/ But it does tell the story in a new way.
