Got my hair cut today by a pretty cool girl at the beauty college. She said she wanted to do hair and makeup at Disneyland one day. She was probably the easiest to talk to out of all the people who have ever cut my hair, with the guy who didn't know how to brush out tangles and yelled at me for having easily tangled hair and the hipster who was all"Everyone comes in asking for side-sweeping bangs," being among the worst. And I paid a lot more to get my hair cut by those people. Don't get me started on the people who ignore what I tell them completely.
I need to finish my next skirt because I'm getting tired of the two I have so far. And with two blouses on the way I need to diversify, youknow?
Started on the room today. Lots of work needs to be done. I might have to replace two seasons of Buffy if I don't find my missing disks. Not fun at all. . .
And now we have the next chapter in the saga of the shoes. For those who haven't heard the full story, I ordered some shoes from a dealer in Hong Kong through a group order. Basically one person organizes the sale and everyone gets a discount. I paid some time in April and the order finalized around that time. About half of the orders get sent out at the estimated time, mine not being one of them. About two days before the cutoff to file a paypal dispute (like 45 days after payment), the person in charge of the order is all "Uh, sorry, but the dealer isn't returning my emails."
About a week after that I have finally received a tracking number. Guess what? My shoes have been sitting at the post office since May 27th. No slip from the post office saying that they were there. And apparently they may have sent it back to the disorganized idiot dealer that didn't bother giving me a tracking number in the first place.
And now I'm all, "Why did I need brown lolita shoes anyway? I should have gotten them in a color I wear more often because its such a pain in the ass to get them." Moral of the story: Materialism blows. In other news, I'm really excited about the blouses I have on the way!
