Let's Talk About 'Sexy'

I cannot accurately express how much I loved about this episode.

First of all, Santana. I always knew there was more to this girl than just bitch and now that we know what it is, my heart is just weeping for her. I just.. I'm heart-broken and actually this whole plot line has got me to understand Karofsky a little more. Don't get me wrong: I will never want to cuddle the dude and I'm not okay with how he handled the situation and I will never be able to support Kurtofsky. But. I understand where he was coming from a little more and what he was maybe feeling. The big thing: Santana handled the situation 100x better than Dave. Which brings me back to Santana. I just want someone to give the girl a hug and tell her she's not alone. Because I feel like that's exactly how she feels. She put everything out there on the line, everything, more than Kurt in Silly Love Songs. And unlike Kurt in that episode as well, she didn't get any reassurance in return. She lost her best friend and the girl she's in love with. And that just sucks.

Next of all, Blaine. Oh god, BAnderson. My boy. You were so terrific in this episode. I mean. I love you so much. Can I just cuddle you forever and feed you love and acceptance? He cares about Kurt, you guys. He doesn't want Kurt to get hurt, ever. He doesn't want to ever see someone take advantage of Kurt and he went and talked to Burt about it. Oh, yeah, just go talk to the father of the object of your affection about sex. Go for it. And I love the Burt/Blaine interaction in that scene. Burt likes Blaine, you guys. And Blaine, that little glimpse you gave us... I don't think Blaine's father is mean like Tumblr is exploding over. I think he just had/has a really hard time dealing with his son being gay and doesn't know how to relate to him. And, yeah, it's wrong for him to try and change his son via bonding time but it's not like he kicked him out or beat him or disowned him or something. He was there for his son and that's what counts. Not as much as Burt motherfucking Hummel, but that's a high standard to reach.

Which brings me to item the third, which is, Burt motherfucking Hummel. Burt Hummel. Burt yes-I-am-a-better-father-than-you Hummel. One of the first thing Burt says to Blaine is asking him if he's gay or straight or what. Because he remembered Kurt talking about Blaine thinking he was bi and how upset his son was over that and he wanted to get that on the record first. Four for you Burt Hummel, you go Burt Hummel. Onto THE TALK, as it's being referred to. Burt went to the clinic and got his boy pamphlets on gay sex. This adult male went to a public place and picked up colored pamphlets detailing the mechanics of anal sex between two men. FOR. HIS. SON. I love this man so much. And then he just, like, delivered my own personal philosophy on sex. Whether you want to have it tomorrow, tonight or thirty years from now, that's fine. Just make sure it's what you want, when you want and with who you want. And make sure you understand the repercussions of the act, how much it is. That sex should be about getting closer to a person. Burt Hummel, I bow down to you. And then the time that made me burst into tears. Now, because I was literally, no joke, sobbing I don't remember what was said verbatim. But it was something along the lines of Kurt not throwing himself around like he was worth nothing. Because he was definitely worth something. You guys. You guys, that is something that every kid should hear in their life. Preferably, like, every day. No matter the context, their orientation or anything. Every parent should say that to their child as much as possible. Because not everyone hears that and not everyone knows that. I'm just so thankful that my daddy has a little Burt Hummel in him and has said that to me, still does say it. (And guys, Chayya's father appreciation for a moment, because he was watching Glee with me tonight, sitting right next to me and when Burt said that to Kurt and I started crying my dad just looked at me and was smiling and guys my daddy doesn't cry but there were tears in his eyes.)

SO. There are my ramblings, do with them what you will. I just seriously could not have loved this episode more if I tried. And I can't wait for next week!!! OMG.

Oh, and also. Animal was pretty freaking amazing, too. ^^
