So I sold my Radeon 7950 graphics card. One reason is that so I can concentrate on studying for boards. Well, maybe I'm just telling myself that. But another reason is that...upgrade time! The timing couldn't be better though, to move up to the R9 series of AMD graphics cards because I actually made money by selling my 7950. Thinking about getting the R9 290 or 290X, probably will end up getting the 290. Maybe the 290X if I can get a good deal. But I duno when that time will be, because I feel like my computer is so crippled without a GPU. Can't play games for my "study breaks." I feel like a total nerd right now, because I just love looking at nice looking hardware. Like the ASUS non reference R9 graphics cards. They just look like a beauty. Also been looking at new highend motherboards just for the heck of it, and those look so gorgeous. I'm already thinking about my next build...whenever intel's skylake processor comes out. Thinking about getting a full tower, and use water cooling this time around, since it's cleaner than using air cooling. And I think I'm gonna go with more Asus parts as opposed to MSi next time around.

But NVIDIA has their g-sync tech, which is pretty amazing.

ugh, too bad it seems that NVIDIA isn't licensing it out. But AMD has Mantle coming out, which is going to be a game changer for developers. Damnit, can't have the best of both worlds. NVIDIA's stuff is so damn expensive though.

Spending half of my winter break for studying for boards is depressing. Pretty much watching the days go by. Bleh. Story of my life.
