What is this? The NSX will come with a twin turbo engine?! Honda seems to be stepping up the game, because they need to anyway. Apparently, rumor has it that Honda will spawn two sports cars after the NSX is released. Hopefully they are RWD, and come with a traditional manual. Also seems like they are focusing on turbos in the near future. The next 5 years for Honda will really be exciting. Looking forward to what kind of new cars they will release. Although, not really liking the styling of some current Hondas...like the civic. The front end is way too busy for no reason. The Lexus RC actually looks pretty nice...surprisingly.
School is still stupid. There's so much shit going on from now til pretty much end of 4th year that I feel overwhelmed already. So many requirements to meet, tests to pass..etc before graduation. And the retarded thing is, even after graduation, you're not out of the school yet because there is still like two weeks left in the quarter. The school can be so stupid at times. Like the administration is ran by headless chickens. Seriously. Their policies, politics, and agendas. Apparently the school monitors people's fb pages and shit. Like a totalitarian country pretty much. Sick of it. Makes me wanna throw in the towel at times due to all the shit that's going on.
Maybe I'm just more cynical these days, but seeing them first and second year students being all like "happy" and shit, and wanting to be 4th years. Makes me kind of sick..because they don't know what's coming, thinking it's all like rainbows and sunshine.
But there's always upsides I guess. Some faculty and staff are really helpful, and it does make things a lot more bearable. I don't know if this is a "calling" but I've been told that I should specialize in periodontics. I've pretty much killed my requirements for perio in predoc, and have the rare instances to do perio surgery on patients. And there's faculty in the perio department that I've gotten really well with. Easy peesy to get a letter of rec from them if I do decide to specialize.
So the PS4 was released. I probably won't get one until a game that I want comes out on it. Personally, I find it amazing how the Ps4 only really consist of a HDD, disc drive, power supply, and a motherboard. The onboard graphics card must be pretty capable then. But that's the thing. It's just an onboard GPU. An onboard GPU cannot compete with a dedicated graphics card that's about half the size of the consoles. Honestly, these "next gen" graphics is not considered "next gen" for PC gaming. I feel like the videogame industry could have advanced much more in graphics if it was limited to PC gaming. But then again, having a high end PC gaming machine is not nearly as accessible as consoles. So not everyone can have the best looking graphics. I guess consoles provide a good compromise, for better or worse. I still like console controls much better than mouse and keyboard, even if mouse and keyboard can be faster though.
