Apologies for the back-dated-ness of this post, but I was extremely tired last night from SO MUCH PARTYING XD
So it was El's birthday today, which called for celebratory karaoke in central London :D Went for bubble tea at Cafe de Hong Kong as we waited for people to arrive, the conversations kind of criss-crossed the table multiple times, like they do when people haven't seen each other in a while. kazayami ordered this lemon kum-quat tea that made everyone go "... eh?", it was quite amusing how everyone had the exact same reaction to it XD
El opened her presents, many of which had something to do with the Third Reich and a certain time period... Even Nazi "almost hardcore" porn from the 70s courtesy of
y2k3nj1_miro and Stevie, omg. I know the rest proceeded to watch this film after karaoke was over, I'm not sure I want to know D: Amy and I got her a SUPER HUGE mug with Grumpy of the 7 dwarves. Gotta love oversized mugs :D
When we finally went to karaoke, there were hardly any silent moments :) Everyone sang a lot, someone managed to find a couple obscure anime songs and a lot of us joined in, finally got to hear
nosferatu_chan sing XD Of course pandarosi graced us with her cute voice, and hetaliaireland was EPIC when he TOOK US ALL TO A GAY BAR XD Much better than the original! spyramy and Zineb did a couple awesome duets, Bleeding Love and Beep amongst them :D
Amy and I, joined by Stevie and her sister Alexis, sang many Johnny's songs, like "Love So Sweet", "Koi no ABO", "Happiness", "Keep The Faith", and "Rescue". Last time we were at karaoke I'd missed some words in the raps miserably >.< but tonight was one of my good rap days, apparently XD Everyone was applauding and I was like "eh? I didn't forget words? awesome!" ^___^
The highlight of the night was the last song, IMO~ Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley... AWESOME CHOICE Y/Y? heheheh. No idea who queued that song up, but whoever it was wins 100 internets. Everyone joined in on it, but I mostly heard kazayami 's epically deep melodious voice XD Massive rickrolling ftw :D
It was wonderful to see everyone again, I hadn't properly spoken to some in such a long time! I'd really love to hang out with you guys more, but we're all so busy with uni/school/life :( LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!
