Alright! Time to move on from yesterday's sad post. Thanks to all the read and/or commented, I really needed the advice and insight. I think I'm more or less on the right track for now, and somehow things will work themselves out, I believe.
Anyway, I bring a funny meme!
Leave me a comment saying "Resistance is Futile."
- I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can satisfy my curiosity
- Update your journal with the answers to the questions
- Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.
maraudersaffair asked:
1. What is your least favorite thing about living in London?
The common misconception is that all English people are cold, bland, emotionless. That is not true. It only applies to Londoners (the born and bred, usually white or black [not Asian], with the British spirit instilled in them, and most likely working office jobs). As much as I love this city for its metropolitan nature which allows me to enjoy my peculiar hobbies and make exciting new friendships in the process, the average strangers in the streets are cold and faceless, and they will not come to your aid should something, anything, happen. Someone could be dead on the pavement at Piccadilly Circus and chances are people wouldn't notice or care unless they stumbled on him and he didn't move. It's depressing and disheartening :(
2. So, someone plopped you in the room of requirement with Snape, and you guys couldn't get out, what would happen?
He'd probably end up telling me his life's story, potentially sobbing on my shoulder, and I'd be listening to the whole thing wondering what I could say in return besides "ohhh" and "that must have been hard" or "kinda been there, I feel you" :P
3. What would you do after you graduated from Hogwarts?
I would go to work in some awesome magic job, and be amazing at it. Maybe travel the world in search of magical wonders of other cultures? Maybe do that for a living? Yeah.
4. What's your favorite food?
CHOCOLATE <3
And out of real food, various Greek dishes like moussaka, spinach + rice, and stuffed peppers. Also Japanese food (miso soup, ramen soup, breaded pork or chicken with various side dishes).
5. Describe to me a celebrity that you would want to be best friends with.
THIS IS SUCH A HARD QUESTION TO ANSWER.
Out of Japanese celebrities, I'd want to be best friends with
Satoshi Ohno of Arashi. I think we're really similar and we'd get along well (although I'd have to spend a lot of money on sunscreen because of all the fishing :P) He's kind of aloof at moments, loves food (pretty much anything seems delicious to him), has the best voice in the band and is also an artist and a fantastic actor. I love versatile people like that, there's a richness in their souls that shines through their many activities.
Out of western (ie. non-Asian) celebrities, maybe Kirsten Vangsness, Penelope Garcia on Criminal Minds... She's so quirky and funny, much like her character on the show.
Or Andy Samberg from The Lonely Island... Because who wouldn't want to be best friends with The Boss/Dude on a Boat who Jizzes in his Pants :P The man is a comical genius.

Today has been spent watching dramas and stuff. Watched the 2+hour special of Odoroki no Arashi, in honour of their 10-year anniversary (kinda forgot to say it yesterday, but HAPPY OFFICIAL BIRTHDAY, ARASHI <3 I love you guys sfm :'D), 2 more episodes of the Korean drama You're Beautiful which is, quite rightfully, all the rage at the moment, and one episode of Ohitorisama with Koikke Teppei :) Amy and I both died of cuteness, no joke. OVERLOAD OF CUTE OK.
Class tomorrow at 9am. Despite what the timestamp of the post says, it's like 3am now.
Gotta go grab myself some z's >.<
