Yesterday Amy and I went to central London, had lunch at a lovely Korean place called (quite appropriately) Little Korea, and upon deciding what to order a familiar tune started to play.

I was like, *INWARD SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* :D Couldn't help dancing in my seat. That song is so catchy.

We were hoping Wrong Number would come up on the playlist but it didn't... Actually the music stopped soon after that, it felt really quiet.
Also, we were a bit disgruntled at the fact that if any SS501 songs came on, we wouldn't know :P Resolved to listen to some of their stuff, and perhaps some other Korean bands as well, for the sake of  diversity. I don't know, back in my crazy DBSK days (November-December '07, and onwards to '08) I felt that if I listened to any other Korean things other than them I'd be betraying them or something... So I didn't. But those days have passed, and I think I'm ready to listen to more Korean music now.

(I feel like a bad fangirl though, I haven't listened to their stuff in a loooong time >_< I still love them so much! I must have had an overdose I guess, and a break felt necessary. Hope I can get as into them as I used to be, because it felt awesome ^^)

Afterwards we went to Japan Centre, picked up some pancake mix and Hayashi Rice mix (oh, NINOOO <3), and proceeded to the bookshop downstairs where we bought Myojo and Popolo... Lots of Johnny's goodness :) Fangirls = happy.

We then met up with codekallen, pandarosi, and rosiael, who introduced us to El's friend Mikako, and we all proceeded to stroll around London, go to Waitrose at Knightsbridge and pick up food ingredient things, and finally settle at El's flat where Mikako cooked nikujaga for us and I made tzatziki again ^^ We sat there fishing for ideas for the Hetalia skit for May Expo, we came up with some pretty hilarious things which should be written down lest forgotten, and laughed our asses off. Somehow we ended up looking for a lot of different versions of songs in a multitude of languages, stumbling across some very, very interesting epically funny things. It was AWESOME. Thank you so much, guise. I had a grrreat time! ^^

Oh, much thanks to pandarosi who pointed out the awesomeness that is Facebook in Pirate, it's the most amazing thing ever. I can't help but laugh every time I log in, and I have realised that in the short amount of time I've been using it in Pirate, pirate vocabulary has been invading my brain. That is kind of neat, considering I am generally clueless about pirate words and expressions.
That's it for Saturday~ It was a lovely day :)

Today I went to uni to help out with filming for After Juliet, they wanted two newscasters and I volunteered to be one... The videos they're filming will be projected with muted sound for the duration of the performance, so I basically had to go there and talk with a serious tone about anything really, because they didn't care what I said as long as it looked good... It's so hard to speak without thinking and without going "ummm", and laughing at stupid things. It turned out okay I think. Came home, watched episode 8 of the Prince of Tennis chinese drama, which was very MomoRyo and smooshy, so cute :3

Random anger-inducing thing: I seriously am so mad at myself for not noticing this when i had to, but it's kind of late right now so I have to deal with my stupid... Remember those boots and fancy shoes I bought the other day? They're both defective in the exact same way: one shoe is one size bigger than the other. The boots are sizes 5 and 6, and the fancy shoes are sizes 6 and 7. On the boots you can't really tell, but on the fancy shoes I think it's really visible... >_< And i really liked theeeeem :( I'll do my best to deal with it, although I'll always be angry at myself for being a total klutz and buying TWO pairs of shoes with disparate sizes O__o WTF KATH GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER OK.

On a completely other note, Amy was reading up on old Greek political events (the Imia incident, to be exact), and we started discussing all that is wrong with the country again, and those perfect times that things could have turned for the better but people let them slip by, for one reason or the other... And the cliquey situations in the Greek universities that perpetuate the corruption that is the partification of pretty much everything and everyone, which I believe can hinder progress and change to a scarily great extent... I began to have that feeling again, that I want to do something about this, that I want to get out there and scream that this is wrong, that it shouldn't be happening, that people should wake up and start caring about the bigger picture rather than just themselves... But I don't know what to do. I don't know how. I don't want to wait, I feel like waiting is a waste of time, and by then the damage will be done, and even those that could be part of a new, beautiful, changed Greece will have been corrupted by the ways of the generation that is now in power and that needs to go if we want change to happen...

And Amy reminded me of that plan of ours, to make a band. It's a creative, aggressive way to make a statement, to sing and point out what we believe in... That means I need to get off my butt and start learning the guitar :P And we'll need to find a drummer too, since it's the only thing we lack. Aaanyway, there's still time until then. I do want to make this happen, as I do a lot of other things. It can be a good start. Someday, not too far from now.

Oh by the way, what's with this quietness around here? Where is everybody? How are you doing? SPEAK!!!
