I have sent a "boyfriend-girlfriend" forward email to a gay classmate I had in NMH in 2005... Hello from another random person. :D

Couldn't resist commenting when I read that White Rabbitt guy's comment - so arrogant and so American in that not so good way. Lol... I fully support the British English spelling, it sounds so much better too. (My university native English teachers are all from Britain and I love their accents). :D Besides, wasn't British English before American English anyway? At least the first Americans that spoke English came from Britain... so that should answer the question of which spelling is the "proper" one. ;D

That they are. Cockney, for example... that is something that often makes me go "um, what did you say again? o_o". XD But I still like to listen to it. :D And that rhyme... thing (slang? or what was it, can't remember now ^^') they have, that is interesting.

Yes, the first Americans were English subjects. But hey, they had the sense to do the right thing and break away when the mother country became too hard headed for their own good. ;)
