Bones, Season 3 Finale.
WORST EPISODE EVER.
And I don't just say that because they made one of my favourite characters into a paranoid psychopathic killer with no previous signs that any of this was taking place... They completely ruined the serial killer storyline by being horribly inconsistent and using cheap ploys to spark up interest.

And what's up with Booth dying? You know how much angst you could have ignited had you used it correctly, o almighty screenwriters of doom?
Granted, I cried a little at first because I absolutely couldln't believe that Booth was dead, and then he was there all of a sudden and there was a "homeland security" whatever issue, and some dude who hardly looked creepy or dangerous or about to do anything criminal was supposed to have been after Booth for... how long? and for what reasons? And just BLEH--too many inconsistencies.

I kinda like the naive, cartoony feeling the show has sometimes, but this bordered on stupid. The intelligent, rational Zack could not have possibly been Gormogon's apprentice, no matter how badly you guys wanted him out of the show. You could have done something else, sent him to Iraq again (don't get me started on THAT cheap ploy to get rid of Zack), or offered him a job somewhere else, or given him a prestigious award or SOMETHING, ANYTHING else other than what you did. Both his parents are alive and well, he would never eat another human being which he didn't, he just followed Gormogon for no apparent reason, because he was naive enough to listen to Hodgins' conspiracy theories?

Too many things are at odds with each other. Loved the bit with Booth in the tub, and Brennan's reaction to him not telling her about the whole fake death thing, but other than that, WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP.
And now Zack's gone. To a freakin' psychiatric institution.
Not right. Just not right.

And by the way, my Zack/Cam suspicions were confirmed. I'm totally writing a fic at some point.
