It's time for another update!
Wes is down at MMI, he's on his third week of school. So far, he's loving it. He took his midterm the other day (they run on 3 week blocks) and made a 90. He was stoked, but mad at the same time. He said if he'd have read the answers better, he'd have gotten it right. So, he knows better for his final this week! It's really cool to hear him excited about school considering he dropped out of high school and had no other inclinations toward school.
The time apart has been good for us. Right before he left, I began emailing and skyping with an old buddy. I'd gotten a desk top to use since his room would be so small, and he took my laptop. I'd forgotten to change my settings on skype, and he found an old conversation and took it the wrong way. So, at least it sparked a fire and he's wanting to try and resolve the issues he's had with infidelity. It's also kind of encouraged more open, civil communication, so that's good too.
The semester has started up again. It's looking like it's going to be a busy one, but I think it will be good. The only thing that's really concerning me is that I cracked my tailbone the other day and sitting all day like that is going to be a pain. At least it sparked the fire for the mom's to actually do something about that step. I'll have to get after my own decks here shortly, but that's another day.I'm going in rounds with ATT to get my internet hooked up. It was suppoesd to be started on Friday, but they didn't even try to hook it up until today. I'm hoping when I get home it'll be going, as one of my classes is online this semester. If not, more fun times are to be had!
