I guess an update is in order.
Both Vicious and Hunter are now fixed. Bits is pregnant with a litter from Vicious, so at least we are getting the money "back" that we paid for him. I would have liked to have gotten at least one of his surgeries back, but oh well. His brother sired a blue, so it's possible that he will. I hope so. That will cover one of his surgeries too. Who knows. No sense in counting chickens before the eggs are hatched. On the bright side of things, he is becoming more playful again, and is actually peeing in one go instead of just marking a million and two times.
I'm not sure what to do about the house anymore. This is the cheapest option for for me at the moment. All the apartments I've seen listed down here end up working out about 400 a month more expensive. I don't like not knowing what is planned, but I guess I'm going to do that whole stick in the mud thing I'm great about and just stay here until I have to go. I'm tempted to try to find another roommate, but have a set list of "rules" that get signed to begin with, sort of like what we did at Shawns. Some of his were a bit eccentric, and generally not followed to the letter by any of his tennants, but they did seem to work in the majority of cases.
I'm also not sure what to do with the Wes situation. We went out to eat last night and had a bit of a conversation about the whole leaving thing. What is strange is that it's always when we get to the point that I call overcast that the moms start trying to get us to split up. I know when mom starts actually encouraging me to go into the military, something is up. She's been trying to talk me into going into the air force when I graduate and Wes heads off to MMI. I think here too, I'm going to go the stick in the mud route. Wes and I had the conversation when we got together the first time that we would not fight to hold on to the other. That has been true of the two times we have split, although I think if it happens again there will be a much harder road to come back on.
I think this semseter is going to go well. I'm looking foreward to Tuesdays, despite them being excessively long. having 5+ hours to get work done and spend a little bit of me time is encouraging. Depending on how Dr. Coleman's class runs I may end up having a few Saturdays instead of Thursday nights. That bothers me a bit, because I'd kinda banked on having those couple of hours on Thursday to do laundry and get a little bit of work done. Granted, that means I'll have a couple of hours on Saturday to do it. We'll see how that one goes.
