The biggest news, I suppose, is that I'm thinking about returning to grad school, and taking some steps in that direction. I am really glad you decided to apply. I agree, just the applying orients your brain to something new, and that is good.

Thanks! There's a lot of "if" connected to this plan, but it's been keeping me busy, and happy, which is good.

Sometimes "if" is really useful, like if the path ends up different, you're still somewhere interesting. I know we've talked about the two programs before, but I'm interested to hear the details of the plan(s).

Also, in a binge of shopping, I subscribed to "Make," "Gastronomica," "n+1," and "The Art of Eating."
