Why hello smiley people!
So.... Time for an update yes?
Maybe just a little one. =)
So… Omg, my last update was in July and it was a shitty meme thing! Blink
Right then. God, loads has happened I don’t know where to start…
Nunsense was ace! I really enjoyed it! Those ladies are the best and with Mr Till and Stan the Man and Luke-dear on lights, fantastic! A great week, and a final night to die for! When it comes to the end of a show, you desperately want the final night to be the best, to go out with a bang! And usually, it’s a huge let down and you prefer the audience from night B or D. BUT the audience were so fantastic that night which totally upped the performances! It was so overwhelming it was incredible! We did the encore and I had tears streaming down my face. Emotions were heightened to say the least! Actually we went out for a meal last Friday together and had a blast! Scared all the customers away in the restaurant, mind. With shouts of ‘you’ll piss on her family?!’ Nice Bush!, and Di and Ian telling the same joke differently, in a very-a bad-a Italian-a accent. Oh. Fun!
Then there was mine and Daves holiday in Tossa! Omg. That was incredible. We went to Barcelona and went on the bus touristic and looked at the football stadium all the gorgeous architechture, most of it by Gaudi, the Sangra Familia was amazing. It’s the only Cathedral that is still being built! It was Gaudi’s dream, and there are representations of Christ and things from the bible carved all over the outside, and everything is so intricate. There’s a gothic side, which is more traditional, and the modern side, which is… modern.
Here’s some random Japanese couple’s photo’s of it to help you understand.
Lol. It should be finished in about 20 years, so I guess we should all go then lol.
Tossa itself was beautiful. It wasn’t commercialised at all (no sign of a maccies or burger king lol!) There was a beautiful castle and the sea was so pretty! We did a historical walk around the city, and were the only two people on the tour. There were so many old folk stories about the places we’d been to, and the lady was lovely! And we went on a glass bottom boat, which was ummm, yeh we discovered I get seasick so… it was fun. And there were crazy piranha fish that pounced all over bread. Eee!
We also went to a water park! That was the best! The slides were so cool, there was this huuuge one called storm, which Dave and I decided to go on first. So a very dry Dave and me get to this slide, which has a sign that says ‘for good swimmers only’ and I’m getting a little nervous. So Dave, being a true gentleman lets me go first (!) and it was really fast and slidey and then suddenly it threw you (no, really I had brusies) into this huge bowl and you go round and round, and then you drop into a plunge pool of pretty cool water. But I was glad I went first in the end, cos I got to hear Dave shout ‘Argh!’ as he fell into the bowl, and then went head first into the plunge pool! Needless to say Dave I weren’t dry anymore. Anywho we made our way through the park twice, and then went back on our favourite ride, which was called Water Mountain, and was a dingy ride, and were in the front of the queue, and the park guy is holding our dingy getting ready to push us down the slide, and he splashes me. Totally on purpose. And I squealed, and exclaimed ‘he just splashed me!’ and dave says well splash him back! So I reach round the dingy, and splash this serialsplasher the tiniest bit! And he signals to his friend who is standing at the side of the slide, and serialsplasherguy’s friend picks up this bucket of water and throws it all over me. Twice! And just as I’m reacting, serialsplasherman pushes us off! Ahhh Waterworld was ace!
I think the highlight of the holiday was The Ramblas in Barcelona. It’s known as the most interesting street in the world. And it was incredible! There were human statues, street performers, stalls that sold all kinds of birds and animals, jewellery and things, artists, puppeteers. Wow. It was like a whole culture just condensed into a street. Beautiful.
Then a week after that I turned 21! Woo! Again, a great day. My family are amazing and crazy and I got far too much. Mum bought me an absolutely stunning diamond necklace, as is tradition in our family, and another tradition is our photo album. When we turn 21 in our house we get a giant photo album, which is basically our life story up until now. Just reminiscing about everything, and baby photos and it was very emotional. One of my favourite gifts.
Dave was wonderful and got me a mini fan from Tossa (I picked one up in every single shop in Tossa and he thought I was abit weird until I explained that my Nanna had one and I used to play with it all the time.) So that was very sweet. And he got me a soap stone trinket box also from Tossa, which is really pretty. I also got Lily Allen’s album (Tom, Gem, Adam, if you want a copy, let me know.) and then a teddy monkey. Which he handed me and explained, I got you this guy, because your adoption pack hasn’t arrived yet. He adopted me a monkey! Well technically an orang-utan called Etin. But wow. And then he gave me my main present, which was a really pretty watch, which was nice, but I didn’t instantly love it, and I wanted to. So we’re swapping that for one that I do love.
Then I had the coolest party with all my friends at PLAYTOWERS! Wow. I wanna thank everyone that can see this who came, because I had the best time and you guys are wonderful, and wow. I was completely overwhelmed at your presents. Tom the photo album is incredible; you know how much that means to me, I love it. Thank you. Adam; My Blunter Woman superhero pack! Wow. What a gift! So funny. So personal. My cape is the best! My little blunter woman logo... It’s great! Fantastic. Again, I love it. And Gem… My strawberry laces rock! =P No really, again, you guys were all so personal and touching in your gifts. My potter pals notebook is wow. I don’t think I can use it, but I so want to! Lol. And my angel ornament, it’s so weird that you got me one and you had no idea how much I liked them. I think you’ve started a collection for me, and you got me a beautiful one to start it with. =) You are all wonderful friends who spoil me rotten and I need to see you guys. I’m really missing you. =) Sometime this week when I see Perfect Wedding yes? =D
Oh and next week I shall be in Wales trial-ling with Dave. =) Fingers crossed he does well =) We went a couple of weeks ago, and I was his navigator. OMG. That was… bumpy. lol. And I didn't get him lost or let him hit a gate so woo! Check me! =D
Anywho I gotta go. =)
Catch you all later!
