I figured since the hot-button issue of first semester is snack machines, than I'd at least contribute my two cents.

The bottom line of this entire issue is the follow: they are just snack machines.

I don't see why this whole thing is as built up as it.

If the school was worrying about certain chemicals in the snacks, they should be advocating no snack machines at all. Similarly, if people really wanted to push for healthy options, they would provide no snack machine at all. There would just be the apples and bananas. The school has no obligation to watch and maintain the health of its student. Furthermore, it has no obligation to provide its students with snacks.

I pity those who get worked up about this issue. Correction: non-issue. I pity those who get worked up about a snack machine.

Find something else to focus your energy on. How about racket ball?
