I am gonna start with thanking you for taking on the task of listening to my requests and figuring out what to write. I really appreciate it a lot. You have many metaphorical cookies coming from my heart.
Before I get started on some clarification behind my prompts here, I'm going to talk a bit about what I do and don't like in fic. Generally, I am a fan of just about any of the broad strokes of fandom. I will ship just about anything I want to, canon or not, although I am going to note some preferences and some of the reasons I like things and people in general. And slash (of any gendering), gen, darker and lighter themes (although my tastes tend to go for the happier or wistful ending rather then the sad or depressing), otwhatevers, etc-generally okay with me, although I will note in the clarification to these prompts if I think a certain theme or setup is key to the idea behind the prompt. I do apologize if I manage to throw you with my reasoning behind my prompts, but I hope I'm generally clear enough to get across my point. In writing and stories and characters, generally, I love sarcasm, force of will and wit above all else, if it works with the story. Smarts are a bonus. Character pieces also delight my soul.

Also, a general warning--I am in yulechat fairly regularly, and I do think I will probably be hippoing this year, so do be careful if you come in to ask for a beta. I'm usually not on from 11 am PST to 6 PM PST, if that helps.

I have loved this sarcastic little series since oh, about 8 years ago when I discovered it while being a gigantic nerd in middle school, and rediscoverd it a year or two ago. I love Vlad, and I love Vlad and Catwi when they're working together and not over the Marxism. And I love Devera, and I think the chances that Vlad Northrar is a little bit a lot like dear ol' dad is highish. So, I think it would be fantastic if the kids worked into some trouble then out of it. Bonus points if you can realistically work Parfi in.
Obviously, I am asking you to go out on a limb here as Vlad Northrar is as of this moment a slightly blank slate character, and if you're not comfortable with that, I am also good with gen shenanigans. (I would also like to note that shipping Morrolan and Vlad for me is an exercise in sheer crack that I only indulge in to hurt my nearest and dearest, and I'd really prefer no Morrolan/Vlad pairing fic.)

Oh god, where to start. I was so heartbroken when I heard they canceled the show after the second season. I thought it was in a good narrative place to take off into new territory, and thus, I basically just want you to run with it. Charlie's perspective, Reese's promotion, Bobby having Charlie's back, whichever. And again, I love me some character study, so if you need a direction, I suggest you start there.

So, I blame someone for this. Two someones, in fact These people know who they are: if it wasn't for them, I may have kept skipping over this series. But I got to book 3 and it went all downhill. Pure evil, those someones.
I LOVE ALL OF THOSE CHARACTERS TOGETHER, BEING THEMSELVES, first and foremost. And I think these are all my favorites, because I am full of all the love in the world for scrappy determination and skill winning in the end, with humor and style. I think they make an awesome team. Personally, putting just about any combination of Tavi+Kitai +Max/Eheren into bed(s) together would be as awesome as just watching them work and hang around each other, although I think that Tavi is probably a really, really hard sell on anything that DOESN'T include Kitai in that timeframe and vice versa, and would thus like the two of them paired accordingly. Although, if you do go the more gen route, including Crassus and more of the legion in general in there would be pretty awesome too, just saying.

Okay, this one...if this is the one fandom we hold in common, I am kinda sorry, because I? I love Yuriev--backstory, in game, his arc--with every ounce of my black and terrible void where my soul used to be. And there is a 50/50 chance you don't, I figure. But I really, really seriously have loved him ever since I played Episode II for the first time. Maybe it was the voice, maybe it was the Asshole Principle. Either which way, I do love me some foreshadowing and some HINT OF DICKERY PAST AND FUTURE. And if you can work this in from the baaaby units perspective, I will be pleased.
