I should have said this in my last post, but I was feeling too warmed over to go to a concert tonight, sue me.
If you feel like LJ is pulling stuff out of thin air, I suggest you watch suggestions as well as your choice of news or the_lj_herald or what have you. I believe the new profile's been on the books since...god, two years ago? At least a year ago? I remember stalking a discussion of the new profile, some time ago. Eh. Designers will pop in and say Things on the posts at Suggestions. Plus, you know, having a say in what and how shit gets implemented. That's rad too. It ain't just the American election people, it's everything. Watch the world around you as much as you can stand it, and then think about it.
LJ has some weird and funky business practices, but for all of that, a lot of us are still here. I think there's something very human in it.
Oh, and 07-Ghost might be getting an anime too. I am cautiously optimistic about this even if I'm not looking forward to the balloon period.
