Anyway.
Thursday, I did an emergency workshop for (supposedly) new teachers. Really really intense. One, first "panel" style workshop alone. Two, all the teachers were veteran teachers from the Philippians undergoing their recertification for work in the US. Three, the weather and the organizer and the state of mind from seeing children of man did not exactly allivate the issue. It was a really good conversation in the end, it was just. Personally intense. Very much so.
Went shopping yesterday with mom at her prodding. Got some new shirts and pants. And some body butter from the Body Shop for my dried out joints. Mango smell. Works really well, and it's in a little container that shouldn't coat my bag with it's juices.
Also a heads up for those rooming with me at Fanime: we ran into a snag with the hotel rooms. It's probably nothing, but just a FYI.
