(no subject)
Friday's exam sucked giant balls. I think it may even have been worse than Monday's - I blame my saying after that debacle "whatever else happens, at least the other exams can't be worse than that!". I really should know better, deary deary me. Eh well, one more at 2:30pm tomorrow/today/Monday and then a WHOLE WEEK till my next exam the following Monday. That will be glorious. :)
Anyway whatever you say about the Turbomachinery division (giant power stations, jet engines etc.) they rock at putting their notes up online, filled in and everything. There was only one broken link that I managed to bodge successfully with my not very 1337 skillz, w00ts! Of course turbo stuff is some of the hardest stuff around so imo it's only fair they give people more of a leg up. Having said that, module 4A1 is nowhere near as bad as 3A5 was last year, phew! They removed all the in depth thermo stuff so that people like me didn't die of fear. Left in a lot of diffusion type equations though. :(
In other news, this weekend was pretty good all in all, despite the revision. It had uber mansunite joy (getting looked after is brilliant!) and a tiny weeny bit of pubbing with Spleen types. Donny Rovers beat Palace 2-0 and moved up to 13th in the table with Deano Shiels scoring his first goal! Awesometastic news, especially as he's only got one eye. :D Hayter scored another header - his capacity for the headed goal is amazing for such a short dude, in and amongst all the 6ft+ defenders. He must have kangaroo legs. :S Yarghs I'm so ready for 4pm Monday, just want it over with so I can relax for a bit before the next slog.
