Bad news: are a band created by the Comic Strip. Also, my coursework deadline which I thought was Thursday 9a.m. is in fact tomorrow at 12pm. Bollocks!
Good news: I found this out today and not tomorrow at 12pm so I can actually do something about it. Also, after 1pm tomorrow I can concentrate wholeheartedly on putting together my presentation for Advanced Machine Design (definitely Thursday 3pm). Because obviously I wouldn't have assumed I could do the whole thing in the two hours before... *cough*1st project presentation*cough*
Other news: St. John's Women won the Plate Final on Saturday 1-0! Woohoo! We beat Caius which makes me even happier as I know very few people from there. :)
Also, I'm likely to be hard to find between next Monday and the 27th April (the end of my most hectic exam period - 5 exams in 8 days!). Can't currently decide whether to stay in Cam, Doncaster or Oxford for the majority. Currently leaning towards Doncaster in which case I'll probably stay in Cam next week then get parents to pick me up at the weekend. This only has real repercussions for band and possible gigs. I do still plan to go to Dornenreich, but will probs miss everything else unless it's in Leeds or Sheffield. Excitingly the last train from Sheff is now at 11:30ish. Unfortunately there is no Leeds equivalent, damn.
Other other news: Having previously decided I'm not going to the John's May Ball, I've now seen the posters and the theme is "Voyage of Discovery" (basically explorers/exploration) which sounds quite cool. Prices have only gone up £5 per double ticket to a staggering £255. I know it isn't really worth the money and I did go last year. On the other hand, Jeng might want to go as he hasn't been before and I know Sal really wanted to go to the extent that she offered to loan me the money. Probably should enquire. Oh yeah, if anyone else is desperate for a ticket, you have until Friday to convince me I should go as after then applications are closed.
