There's a woman on BookTV rambling on in a gratingly obnoxious voice about style, but I have no idea what she's saying because I'm too busy watching the hilariously conspicuous boom mic guy running around the room and crouching on the ground while he shoves this extremely long microphone in audience members faces as they ask questions to the author.
I don't get it, he's not hiding from anyone or blocking anyone's view, why crouch like a little sneaky spy? And his microphone must be 2 feet long, why does he need to put it right up to everyone's mouth?
