ahhh this is so fantastic and ouch, man-i have a sunburn too, although i lack a certain remus lupin and/or sirius black *sigh* but anywho, the interaction between james and sirius is wonderful, and i like how you don't portray peter as "the idiotic tag-a-long, who is watching from afar and feeling jealousy towards the three playing boys"
Oh, sorry about the sunburn! But thanks so much for reading; I really appreciate your comment. And as for Peter, I don't think he was just a fourth wheel; he was as good a friend as the other three. :)
Thanks so much for reading! I'm flattered by your comment, and I know there was limited R/S interaction here, but I wanted to show how they act w/their friends as well. But there'll definitely be more R/S in future installments. :)
I'm sunburnt, I feel their pain. Love the last two lines! You're mean. It was all fluffy and then you have to make me all sad. The Marauders being invincible thing made me sniffle.
First, I'm sorry about your sunburn. I know it's painful, so I feel for you.
Second, I'm sorry for adding that part there at the end. But with Sirius's new place and all of them starting post-Hogwarts lives, they can't help but be optimistic, you know?
Mmm. This fic just has such a nice feel to it. It is a thoughtful little fic that grabs you and pulls you in.
The relationship between the boys is realistic and fun. I love the way that they argue and they make fun, but they still manage to have a good time. I also like the way in which you show Sirius and Remus' relationship within the four and how they don't interact as a couple around other people. Remus is fabulous as the thoughtful and practical friend and boyfriend, but I think that you give him a nice edge of teenaged boy as well. Sirius is also wonderful as the sometimes bumbling boyfriend and the awesome best friend. His thoughts and worries about James are nicely shown - I love than he confesses to Remus :).
Wow, thanks for such a thoughtful comment. To me, they are still young boys even though they've already graduated. However, they do concern themselves with real issues (R/S not engaging in PDA and the James/Sirius tension). And yes, I also like that Sirius can talk to Remus about anything; he trusts him that much.
