Oh, Soaps, I Wish I Knew How to Quit You!
A few days off from work for winter break and I get invested in soaps once more. Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in . . .
General Hospital: Patrick/Robin/Sabrina - I first started watching this show when Robin was just a teenager and found her first love. The character was "dead" recently, but once the actress confirmed that she was returning for a longer run, Robin arrived back in Port Charles (Port Chuck, as I like to call it) just in time to see her hubby almost marry someone else. Yes, this scenario has been done over and over but I still find it all kinds of entertaining.
Maura West (ex-Carly, As the World Turns) is also on the show, and she's as spectacular as ever.
And Lucas, a gay character, is returning in 2014. Interested to see what he does in Port Chuck.
Days of Our Lives: Still can't get into Will/Sonny. And now that my favorite couple, Kristen and Brady, are no more, I don't really like anyone though EJ/Sami are pretty hot when they're fighting and kissing.
And I don't know how I feel about this: Daniel Cosgrove (Chris!) is joining the show. Grrr! Still can't entirely forgive him for his role in the horrid ending on As the World Turns. Read this article! It's hilarious but does point out that "he has the heart of Dr. Reid Oliver beating inside of him." And Danny Cosgrove would make a very cute gay character!
The Young and the Restless: Michael Muhney was fired! Billy cheated on Victoria! Boo!

They're referred as having "antagonistic chemistry." Hmm, what 2 other hot gay characters had that type of chemistry in 2010 on another soap? I'm gonna be praying to the soap gods that there is something between them. And even if nothing happens, that won't stop me from maybe, possibly, hopefully, writing a smutty fic about them.
