Today on the way home from work, I saw a posse of 4 young lads walking in the grass along the highway. What seemed to be the leader had no shirt and waved his arms up above his head... as if he were trying to flag down a ride. As I drew closer in my truck, his head seemed to dart spasmodically in my direction and his eyes made contact with mine... and he stuck his hand down his pants, looking at me as if I made him do it against his will. I didn't actually take all this in until I had passed him...
