So I ordered a book last week, and realizing I was stupid and ordered it too late, I sprang for expedited shipping. I got an email saying it was shipped on Monday either by USPS Priority or UPS Ground, and I should get it in 2-3 days.
I wait, and wait, and wait some more. I finally get it today.
It was shipped media mail.
No freaking surprised it took 8 days to get here.
Why did I have to pay nearly twice the amount for shipping if they're going to ship it the slowest method possible?! Not only that, but it was shipped from Connecticut. I've said this before, and I'll say it again. You can WALK the book from there to here in less time than that.
Annoyed at alibris, annoyed at Solid Rock LLC (the shipper), and annoyed at myself for not knowing that I needed the book before last weekend.
They turned on the heat in the building!
