Bad is having your stomach growl constantly throughout the exam.
Bad is also having a line to go to the bathroom during the exam.

Good is having the exam over and done with for now.

Bad is that the stomach is not satisfied even after being fed. *shut up you, shut up NOW*

Back to class soon. Boo.

Edit: Class was interesting..... we had a ethics ( Read more... )

I'll have to return a lot of stuff I swiped from my dad and sisters that were given to them as samples, then >XD

Dunno, I just read the Constant Gardener a few weeks ago, its little expose on shady dealings by (fictional) pharmeceuticals would now make me a bit suspicious (maybe you should read it)...

Out of curiosity, like what? (you don't have to answer that :P)

Lots of pens, a canvas bag, mousepads, the general cheap stuff than you can put a company name on, usually in bulk. Ha, I WISH I could get benefits of the more swanky stuff like trips, etc.

(Actually, no I don't. Swiping that canvas bad was plenty.)

Ooooh, those are considered gifts since they're not meant to be given to patients.
I asked because giving drug samples to your family members would be, um, on the other side of ethical......

A friend whose father is doctor in big hospital once received second-hand car from a drug company that tried to persuade her father. She sold the car and used the money to pay tuition on her own instead.

Samples OK, no to gifts. Gifts are making my medicines getting more expensive, and doctors going subjectives on them :O

O_O A car? Whoa.

Did you see the new shop page? I'm trying to figure out how I can get those DVDs! Nippon-Export charged me almost 25% for Comic Jack, so I want to go with something less expensive.....

Yeah, I saw it too!

Dang, I ask seisaku-sama whether they can ship overseas and will they receive bank wire transfer, and there written :
- Payment in cash only through Post Office Account, and
- Domestic shipping only

I checked Crecent Shop terms, this is not a service that shop is willing to handle. I'll post this case to comm, maybe we can get some discussions there.

i'm all for samples, mostly because thus far when my dr. gives me samples i don't have to ever buy the medicine.
i think there should be a $ limit...that seems like it would take care of distinguishing legitimate advertising from bribes.

Samples are good things. Some of those drugs are outrageously expensive

One thing I forgot to mention is that drug companies often sponsor lectures and other Continuing Medical Education seminars. Basically a drug rep in the beginning gives a 2 minute spiel about their drug, and the rest is actual medical education. It kinda blurs the lines.
