4-D: A Different Perspective
a. A quick pulse upon the ground I stand. Leaves are gliding slowly, like bulldozers in twisting dance, crumpling against the ground. Spirits disguised as towering wooden bodies without lips to speak, just arms that take to the breeze and smack into strangers reverberating for miles. I compute which sounds of the forest are vegetation and which are crucial to my carnivorous hunger, forcing murder from my teeth. I can see its thick fur innocently unaware, bounding above pale green grass and over dandelions. Tucking my jagged shoulder under my ribs, I slink parallel to my awaiting relief. Imagining it’s soul screaming as white teeth stain scarlet, tasting his body fail, then viciously consuming every bit of meat off his thin cage, only to silence the screaming pulse inside me for a few hours. So many times I have ignored the creatures I destroy in search for a temporary cure. No more.
And so the ragged wolf stopped in his hunt and collapsed on the ground, remaining there without sustenance until death___x.
