(no subject)
I've felt weird all weekend...I haven't been in touch with anyone...In fact, I've spent more time with Mrs. Nichols this weekend than anyone else - and that was only for 20 minutes...I've been somewhat of a hermit...but we're all allowed to be hermit-ish every now and then...so there!
but I have been surprisingly productive...I've done quite a bit of reading - I just finished Frost and Fire for the third time (which isn't much of an accomplishment, considering it's only forty or so pages, but still), and I've been reading "The Small Business Startup Kit"...(how's that for opposite sides of the spectrum?)
...wrote a pretty piano melody today...it's very "lying-on-the-beach-with-a-hot-girl-and-a-drink-with-an-umbrella-in-it"...or maybe its more "lying-on-my-bed-listening-to-a-summer-thunderstorm-through-my-open-window...with-a-hot-girl...and-a-drink-with-an-umbrella-in-it"...I dunno, who cares? It's fun.
I also went to check out a townhouse that's up for rent...3 floors, 2 bed, 2.5 bath, deck, and a downstairs bar...I really want to take it, but I have to scrutinize whether it's worth it, considering all the expenses we're going to end up running into with opening the venue...(but it's 3 FLOORS, with a BAR!)...damn financial planning...oh well...If I do get it, everyone needs to come over for a party...
