Having uploaded the pics from this past weekend, I am struck by the limitations of compact cameras. I used the Canon Powershot A80, and frankly it did a barely adequate job most of the time. Sure, a lot of the goal right now is figuring out where the things limitations are, and so how to use it effectively, but I'm a bit cranky about the number of pics that will require red-eye handling. Grump!
