my window is open and the sun is hot on my face. and all i can hear are tiny little birds chirping.
i hope it stays like this.
the fact that it's warming up- even just a little- is doing me good. i've had a mean case of the winter blahs and spring just can't come soon enough. it's been a rough winter and i just have so many things to look forward to, once spring gets here.
hurry up.
i have never been more excited for something. school, that is. it's going to be rough and don't get offended if people don't see me ever. i am still not absolutely certain what it is i will be doing once i am done here at dal. medicine or naturopathic medicine- both have their pros and cons. but i talked to an old friend last night who is in med school right now and he said all the right things. and i feel really good about this, either way. it's something that will be my life. but it's something i am so, so passionate about. and want more than anything.
and i can't imagine it any other way.
melanie and adam were here friday night. 6 years in this city and, finally, they came! though it was to catch a flight to mexico early the next day. but still, it was so great to see them again. AND i get to see them on saturday when i pick them up at the airport.
some other things i am looking forward to this summer: kelly's wedding, lacey's wedding and jen's wedding (in toronto!!). and camping trips.
