Well, looks like it's spring again! Or rather, it doesn't much look like it, with the clouded-up sky and the biting wind and the cold, but we all know it's here. At least, meteorologically, which is also logically in some way. I've kind of been hoping for more snow - we've only been able to enjoy a snowy world once this winter, and even though it stayed that way for a week or some it wasn't enough to fulfill my wintery cravings. Winter-weather gods, I beseech thee: send some more of that white goo down! I still haven't built a complete igloo in my life and I'm not quite immortal yet, you know?
I'm still busy with school work myself, though I'm skipping class today - I haven't been able to prepare properly and I'll look like an idiot if I don't have anything to show for two times in a row, besides, if you haven't prepared you're jotted down as absent anyway. Curses! I promise I'll prepare properly for the next class, which is Thursday. Today I'll stay in and try to read up on the readings I've fallen behind with. I think I should be able to get quite far, which is only right since last semester I fell behind so far I couldn't recover from it in time.
If I have any time left in the coming days or weeks I hope to be able to do some plotting. I would write but I don't have anything in mind at the moment, so I've turned back to my old Nanowrimo project - not last year's, but that of two years ago - and see if I can finally get back to finishing the plot. It's very untidy and uninteresting in many places, but I had quite a bit of it worked out back then and I think that I can improve on it now, provided I don't strive for perfection and can keep my interest up (and if not, it's simply not the time for this, and I'll just work on something else! That's what I like about writing without deadlines, I guess). I still have last year's Nano to revise too, though who knows when I'll get around to that? Probably when I'm seventy-six and retired and live in an attic somewhere with five cats. My beard will be so long, you have no idea. I can't wait for the future!
