I've been listening to a lot of dance/techno/trance/rave/remixes/whateverthefuckyouwannacallit music. I think that I'm slowly, or at least subconsciously, becoming a wannabe raver, or something...  Either way, I'm listening to a lot of it lately.I've only witnessed one rave, and that was back in '08, when Versailles played here in the states. After the concert, I stuck around for their autograph. After te signing, I peeked into the concert hall and sa pitch black with random lights flying all over the place, save for the stage, where DJ Sisen was. It didn't move me that much back then, mainly cause I was sore and tired and wanted sleep. Close I was to going to the rave at Otakon, if only it weren't for the long-ass line... >__>;;  I blame the False Fire Alarm...  Which was still kinda fun in it's weird way. Had a small group yell out the Team Rocket Motto. xD That was hilarious!!! Ah, the memories.

Yesterday I went to see Slayer. I went with my manager, who was really anticipating this concert. Unfortunately/Fortunately we had seated tickets. I mentioned both because I wanted to be in the pit, and I didn't want to be in the pit. Though it would be kinda hard to avoid. Then again, I barely remember keeping an eye out for the pit from the seats. I was too busy headbanging and screaming along to the songs. They played Seasons in the Abyss in its entirety. They opened up with 'World Painted Blood,' followed by 'Worldwide Hate.' The only 2 songs from their latest album that they played. They also played 'South of Heaven,' 'Raining Blood,' 'Aggressive Perfector,' and closed with 'Angel of Death.' I kinda wished that they played either 'Necrophiliac' and/or '213.' Either way, it was a fucking good night!!

Anime USA is about a month away! I need to start and saving up for then. I know for a FACT that I'll be at the Maid Cafe. It was a nice way for me to relax and slightly rest before going back to the walking and wandering about and almost getting lost and hoping to meet up with other like-minded people and whatnot. Something tells me that this year is going to be great! =D  I need to make a list of mangas that I need to get and anime and maybe figurines and some DVDs and...

rave, slayer, anime usa, convention, otakon
