First, I wasn't invited. I don't just like to appear at functions that I wasn't invited to.
Second, Nate mentioned that I should come along, but we never talked about it again on Thursday night when we hung out, and we didn't talk at all on Friday.
Nate saying you could come WAS an invite...apparently there were like 3 or 4 people trying to get this thing together...I would definitely have wanted you there.
that's the problem with damn surprises..you can't really help it if they don't do it the way you want it.
