Tempo Legacy 1.0 » I'm With the Band
If you saw my previous post, my save files for the Blaze Legacy and even their family file in the bin got corrupted. Like I said, I'd probably be back with a new legacy, and here I am! Hope you guys enjoy it as much as the Blaze Legacy, and as always, if you're eager for an update, check out my tumblr where I post the pictures as I play, often days before I'll accumulate enough post an update. Meet Adam Tempo. He's an Unlucky fellow, but he's also a Virtuoso,
a Genius, a bit Shy, and in addition to all of that, Innapropriate.
He wants to be a One Sim Band one day.
(I changed his face a little into the game, he looks better then, I promise!)
Today's his first day in Bridgeport after his quiet upbringing in Riverview.
Adam: Okay, 1406, 1407... ah! 1408!
(if you know what i'm referring to, you get a cookie!)
His apartment is nothing special (I put no time into decorating it >.<)
but it's big enough for him and maybe someone else in the future, so he loves it.
The fact that there's a drum set for him to bang on helps, of course.
That was his first stop when he got home.
He wasn't banging all day though, he's a man with a mission.
Adam: Hmmm, what to do first? I really want to start a band but... mom said
that I should find a girl to settle down with first... what to do, what to do?
Adam: I've got it! I'll go to the park and play my guitar, and maybe go to a club
tonight, I'll meet some people, and I'll go from there.
Adam: Got my guitar, off to explore Bridgeport!
The people at the park included (and were limited to)
Mr. Angry Piano Man
Miss Srs Business Lady
BFF GURLZ
Adam joined Mr. Angry Piano man with his guitar.
Adam: Oh my God, is my finger supposed to go through this!?
He did attract a small, one person audience of Miss SRS Business Lady.
And then, one half of the BFF GURLZ joined him, Drums in tow. How she carried
that entire set of drums around in her pocket is beyond me.
They played into the night, though, and had some serious chemistry.
Time for a bathroom break!
Adam: Man, that was great! She's great! I should get to know her better,
she's really good with her hands... Man, I didn't even catch her name...
Adam: Should I ask her to...? Oh... I don't know...
she probably wouldn't even be up for it.
Adam: Hey, great jam session! You really know how to play the drums, don’t you?
I, uh, didn’t catch your name.
Girl: It’s Suzy! Suzy Strummer. And you are?
Adam: Oh, I’m Adam. Tempo. I’m new here, and uh, wanted to ask you something.
Suzy: Yeah? Go for it!
Adam: Well… I know I’ve only known you for today, and my guitar skills could
definitely use some improvement, and I completely understand if you're turned
off by the idea but… do you want to form a band?
Suzy: It's true, we have only known each other for a couple hours, and your
guitar playing could use a bit of improvement, and well, a band is a huge
commitment, and I'm not really sure you're the guy to do it with, ya know?
Adam: Yeah, I completely understand, sorry I as--
Suzy: I get to name the band.
Adam: What? Oh! Okay, no problem! What did you have in mind?
Suzy: OMG! Yay! I didn’t think that would work! I have so many ideas, we should
wear pink feather boas on stage and throw glitter at the audience-
Adam: Uh, okay, the name?
Suzy: Oh! And I want to give up the drums and play guitar, you know ‘cause my
last name is Strummer? And we need a lead singer-I know just the girl!-and a
bassist and a pianist and oh! will you take on the drums?
Adam: …Suzy?
Suzy: We could go on tour! And visit Shang Simla! OMG this is gonna be awesome!
Adam: Suzy!
Suzy: What?
Adam: The name? Of the band?
Suzy: Oh! Hmmm…. let’s call it…. Ask November!
Adam: Alright. Sounds good.
It was getting late, so I sent Adam home for dinner and bed.
Adam: Ugh, I hate salad! It's so... green!
(You can't burn it, Adam.)
Adam: But... ugh! Green!
(Your eyes are green, Adam)
Adam: But they're not salad! D:<
As soon as he woke up, he was back on the drum set.
He didn't even put pants on.
It reminds me of Travis in blink-182 music videos.
Adam: What, a man can't go around his house without pants on?
PANTS ARE TOO MAINSTREAM, OKAY?
Adam: I AM A HAPPIER MAN WITHOUT PANTS, OKAY?
(Okay, man, calm down!)
This is one of his neighbors, Olive. She's pretty, but LOOK AT THE BOOBIES.
She also ignored Adam when he went to introduce himself >.<;;
Ask November got their first gig! Adam spent two whole days working on guitar
and preparing for it, but I screwed up the date, and they missed it. Sorry BB!
He got the wish to go to a lounge, and who am I to stop him? This is his bouncer.
Lovin' the ensemble man. Tats, beard, shaved head, everything.
Adam: Hello, good sir! I request entrance into your Lounge!
Bouncer: Sure, man, go ahead. Who am I to stop Adam Tempo from a good night out?

Adam: Wow, that was easier than expected. Nonetheless, good evening to you, sir!
It was then that I checked his celebrity level. He had 2 stars!
I don't even know how, he has, like, four friends!
The bar wasn't empty, but all of the people there wouldn't talk to Adam,
so he helped himself to some food one of them left on the bar.
(LOL nice, Adam)
Adam: Well, what else am I supposed to do?
I don't have money for this kind of food!
He started playing his guitar, but these two ladies were too busy reading
to take notice. Who reads at a night club? Lol.
So he stood in the corner and played well into the wee hours of the morning.
(Seriously, Guitar+Drums=All the boy ever does.)
After a full nights days sleep, he woke up and cooked some macaroni.
(There, it's not salad, okay?)
He wanted to earn some tips with his guitar, so I sent him to a hot spot, where
everyone ignored him and he earned no tips xD
He started playing darts, and he had a little bit of fun.
(You almost got it!)
Adam: Almost is not good enough! Darts are srs business!
Big-Boobies-Bartender: You suck!
Adam: Ugh, I know! But I just started! What's your excuse?
(oh, buuuuuuuuurn)
The bar closed, and he went home. I don't know why he makes this face when
he gets out of the elevator, but he's never with anyone else when he's in it,
and it's a fourteen-floor long ride. ( What do you do in there, Adam? )
Adam: You don't want to know.
( ._. )
Even though it was 4 am, he didn't go to sleep. Instead, he played the drums.
(Your neighbors must hate you.)
Adam: Ask me if I care. 'Cause I don't.
Just a thought of mine: I think Sim drummers should get hot and sweaty when they
play. I've gone to quite a few concerts, and all the band members, especially
the drummers, are usually dripping sweat by the end. One time, at a This
Beautiful Republic concert, the drummer threw up on stage! It was gross, but still.
Hardcore drummers like Adam should get sweaty.
He wished for a Bass, so I bought him a fish one.
I think it's possessed him here.
He got the opportunity to preform back-up for some band, and on his way there...
he fell out of the elevator. LOL.
After his performance, some dude started drumming and he thought,
oh, what the hell? and danced next to the nearest pretty girl.
She wasn't up for it though, and walked away, giving Adam a sad.
Adam: Hey, please don't walk away! It's just, I'm new here, and I'm from a town
where there aren't any girls as pretty as you. I'm Adam, and I'm in this new,
up-and-coming band called Ask November.
(Wow, Adam, way to turn the charm on and use your band as an advantage.)
Adam: I know, right? Now shush.
Girl: Ask November? Didn’t you guys bail on a gig last week?
Adam: Yeah but… look, that wasn’t my fault, okay? They gave us the wrong date!
Girl: Oh, I'm sure.
I’m pretty concerned about those two vamps in the background.
One of them is thinking about Adam, and the other one is thinking about food.
Adam: No, really! And then our drummer got sick and everything went downhill
from there. It sucked! We were really looking forward to the gig, too.
Girl: Oh yeah? Well… when are you guys doing another one?
Adam: I’m not sure… I can give you a call when I know!
Girl: Uh, alright. My name’s Emily, by the way. Give me your number,
and I’ll call you sometime, okay? I really should get going…
Adam: Alright, sounds good!
As he headed home, he got this wish. And there you go!
