I had the strangest dream last night/this morning.
It was a beautiful bright sunny day and I was walking and driving PBVW at the same time, up a hill, which began as Maroondah Highway but became some weird dusty country road... At some point, I saw a duck on the highway road, and watched a truck run over it. It didn't die, but it was injured, so I stopped looking for whatever it was I'd been looking for and went to help it. I wrapped it up in a towel, and I noticed that it was missing a foot flipper now. I took it to a man's house, where he had some other animals, including a pelican and a terrier. I put the unconscious and injured duck down on the couch and started talking to the man. I heard flapping and the duck had vanished. I found it down behind the couch. I helped it up and it ran (on one flipper and one stump) across the room, urging me to go upstairs. Then Mike rang the home phone and I woke up. Strange.

They were just normal stairs, carpetted in beige loop-pile...maybe because the duck was urging me up them, I'm about to start, or should start some spiritual/emotional/material journey??
So...basically I glean from my readings that during a nice, sunny day an emotional or situational breakthrough while I was searching for something trying to find something that is missing or needed in my life or a solution to a problem, walk-driving my car navigating my path in life, I went from a highway onto a dirt road inner peace to emotinal turmoil up a hill because of struggles in achieving a goal, and a truck too much obligation and responsibility ran over my duck freedom and flexibility and cut off its foot-flipper progress, freedom, and independence.
I wrapped my injured, unresponsive duck freedom and flexibility in a towel emotions that need to be dealt with and took it to a man's house the masculine, assertive, rational, aggressive, and/or competitive side of myself. The man my masculine, assertive, rational, aggressive, and/or competitive side talked to me, and I discovered my duck freedom and flexibility had fallen down behind a couch my laziness. I went to get my duck freedom and flexibility, being watched by a pelican my nurturance and caring for others and a dog my intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity and then my duck freedom and flexibility awoke, and urged me on, upstairs away from some depressing or negative situation, making progress into my spiritual/emotional/material journey regardless of its injured foot lack of progress, freedom, and independence...
Maybe my duck is telling me to get on with everything, despite setbacks obstacles, to stop being lazy, and and not to let responsibilites and obligations drag me down?
*shrug* What a way to fill in a morning, huh? Heh heh heh. I did room tidyment and washing too, though.
