She's ace. I got s greatest-hits-type CD of hers recently and I love it!

I only have Retrospective on cd, the rest were on vinyl *feels old* and I no longer have the means to hear them. It's still in cd player ;P

LOL Vinyl's gooooood! Retrospective is what I bought recently. I figured I've downloaded some of 'em, and I've always liked her stuff, so I should pay a li'l for it...

vinyl is lovely, crackly and delicious.. and so tactile too, even if I can't actually listen to them anymore it still feels good just to handle the sleeves. *sigh* viynl geekery!

Oh I wholeheartedly agree! And they have a smell too, don't you think? Maybe that's just mine... they're a tad dusty.

yes yes, a smell too, which is why they are so evocative even if you can't listen to the music they still bring back a time and place ;)
